It’s International Thank a Greenkeeper Day

Our thank you cards have been sent in the post and now we want to share a poem we wrote at Obbi Golf HQ for our greenkeepers everywhere…

“Covering every angle, not a corner is missed,
Through rain, hail and snow, our greenkeepers always persist.

Controlling all of the trees, the pests and the pesky weeds,
Pruning the beautiful flowers and sewing the well-needed seeds.

Making sure the tools, machinery and the course is safe for all,
Where would we be without you? Certainly not playing 4-ball.

Your contribution to our industry is one we couldn’t be without,
So thank you to all our greenkeepers, whom today is ALL about. “
