So, without further ado, let’s get started and meet our incredible team!

First up we have Graeme Taylor, who is one of the newest members of the team. Graeme joined at the start of March 2023 and is already proving to be a fantastic asset to Obbi.

Tell us a bit about your background and how you arrived at your current job role?

I have worked in the Health & Safety and HR industry in sales and account management for the last 13 years. the opportunity with Obbi came at the right time and I am very excited to be part of the team at this exciting time

What is your favourite part of your job?

Without doubt, speaking to the clients.

If you could give one piece of advice to someone who is looking to follow a similar path, what would it be?

For anyone thinking about going down a sales route, I would say make sure it’s for you. At times it can be very difficult but is also incredibly fulfilling. Resilience is key.

Why do you think Obbi Golf is important to the golf industry and what impact would you like to make in your role?

Obbi provides a solution that is specific to the golf industry. The software is suited to helping a GM/secretary organise the club to ensure their obligations are being achieved. I would like to get as many clubs as we can on board and using the Obbi system.

Rate your golf skills out of 10 and be honest

I was ok up until the age of 21 where I got my handicap down to 7, unfortunately I haven’t really played since then other than the odd round, I am sure I will get the chance to dust off the clubs and we can evaluate the skills at that point, which I am not holding out much hope!

What do you like to do outside of work?

Outside work is generally spent running after my 3 kids, Skye, Lily & Kasper along with spending time with my partner Amanda. I’m a big sports fan so I enjoy watching football (Arsenal), Boxing and Golf. I would say it’s quiet and boring life but that suits me perfectly!

How do you think people would describe you without using your name? (Think Friends style, how they named their episodes – ‘the one who…’)

The one who we don’t see very often on nights out!

If you weren’t doing what you do now, what would be your dream job?

My dream job as a kid was a pro footballer, so would probably have to be that.
